It doesn't matter to PJerks if you never re-offend or not. Once convicted, you stay convicted in their eyes, to them you're a pedophile, must be exterminated, etc etc etc.

Anyone convicted by their kangaroo court of personal judgment is met with the same answer as the following scene from the movie in Independence Day where the captured alien comes back to life.

President: "What do you want from us?"

Alien: "Dieeeeeeeeeee......"

It doesn't matter if you reoffend or not, if you are innocent or not, etc. They want you to DIE, plain and simple. How people like themget to be a "voice" for anything besides hatred and insanity is beyond me. Since when did stay-at-home mothers, dirt truck drivers, and computer geeks become doctorates in sexaulity anyways? I guess I'm a bit annoyed at how they throw out the word "pedophile" without even knowing what the word means. Jan wasn't labeled a pedophile, nor am I. Many sex offenders do NOT re-offend or obsess over deviant sexuality. But it matters not to them because they wish for us to "dieeeeee......" That's why they are beyond reason. But I don't answer to people like them.

Those who come here who ARE former offenders, we don't re-offend because of them, we do it because we've learned the error of our ways and express a sincere desire never to re-offend. There will always be people like Petra Luna, Xavier Von Erck, Judy Cornett, and others who will call for us to be exterminated. But we don't rehabilitate for them, but for the sake of good, for our own sake, for reparation, and for the good of the greater society.

We should encourage individuals with deviant sexual desires to seek help. My issue, however, is our society instead seeks to ostracize and condemn people, which has caused people to not seek help at all or, when they need help, to not be able to find it.

Do we well alcoholics they are beyond help, once a lush always a lush, pass laws to prevent them from living within 1000 feet of a bar, disourage AA, etc.? Stupid, right? Well that's the way I feel about how the US handles sexual deviancy. Is it any wonder we haven't deterred anything? What's more, we breed people like Petra Luna, who feel empowered to be a self serving vigilante.

Ok I think that some people got the wrong idea behind what I posted recently. No I do not have a sexual desire for children. I made a mistake when I was younger and yes I take responsiblity for that. I have seeked treatment and counseling to deal with my problems. Its extremely hard to sit there in a counselors office and tell them something like that and try to work through it. I dont know what else to do at times. I do agree with you though fallenone people say that RSOs cannot be rehabillitated. Oh really? I havent done anything in the past four years and will continue not to. Children are sacred and should never be touched in a sexual manner. I do agree with that. Life does strange things to you. Sometimes it takes a major event happening in your life to change your perspective on things. So what if PJ profiled me. They continue to spin their half truths and everything else. Remember dont believe everything you see and half of what you see especially when it comes to an organization like PJ.

I'm glad we've clarified here. I made a terrible mistake years ago, but I served my time and chose not to re-offend and hopefully try to encourage people not to share in my mistake. When I write I try to be as objective as possible. I've taken flak from both sides of the RSO issue because at times i say things they don't want to hear. I feel we must be honest on both sides of the issue. The solution comes from cooperation between the two sides to find something that works. I'd love to see more prevention programs, but instead we get kill all RSOs, which has led to people like those at pee-j, Petra Luna, absolute zeroes, and other armchair vigilantes. I have no use for them because as it has been stated repeatedly here, their mission is to "pwn" people rather than protect children. I think PJ behaves like a matador tempting the bull; if you left the bull alone there would not have been goring. But PJ tactics aren't "sit in a chatroom all day waiting" like they claim, instead they are the aggressor. I have a problem with that for one reason. Say they meet a man who sorta knows he is rather attracted to teens but never acts on the fantasy. He goes online and meets "sexygirl14" (who is really VonJerk32) and "SG14" starts chatting with him. Guy is tempted but decides no thanks. SG14 starts following him around, flirts, says the things that pique his repressed interest, and then hooks him. I see that as different than a man who has a blatant desire for children pursuing teens and makes the first move. Waving a beer can to a recovering alcoholic is not a good idea. So how is that different than PJs aggressive campaign?
