Recently, one of the perverted-justice participants named Zelpha Long, known by her vigilante screen name "Duncan Hines", suggested that her mentor and hero, "Xavier Von Erck" (formerly known as "Phillip Eide" of Portland, Oregon) the owner of the website perverted-justice.com was not in fact the socially maladjusted, sophomoric power-monger we had made him out to be. According to Ms. Long, Von Erck is "an ethical young man with a vision".

Let's have a look at that word "ethical"

According to Dictionary.com, "ethical" and "moral" are synonyms. Here's how the dictionary describes both words:

Ethical Adj.

1. Of or concerned with the judgment of the goodness or badness of human action and character: moral scrutiny; a moral quandary.
2. Teaching or exhibiting goodness or correctness of character and behavior: a moral lesson.
3. Conforming to standards of what is right or just in behavior; virtuous: a moral life.
4. Arising from conscience or the sense of right and wrong: a moral obligation.

This "ethical young man" owns, controls and runs every aspect of the cyber-vigilante website perverted-justice.com. The ethics of those participating in perverted-justice activities are a direct reflection of the ethics of Von Erck. What follows are a number of quotes from the perverted-justice site. Please examine these quotes and try to make a determination as to whether or not you believe the activities described in these quotes would be considered "ethical" to those who truly understand the term.

This response from Xavier was a result of the target's refusal to roll over and play dead at Xavier's command. It consists of instructions being given to his members. Remember - Xavier didn't feel this case was serious enough to bother with police:

"That was the conversation from the other night. He tried to lie to me, I shot him down. He admitted it after realizing how I tricked him into confirming the identity of the person speaking to me...

... So tonight he was snotty with me. Being that he was snotty with me, let's hit up some flyers.

Have fun."

Xavier Von Erck's words describing what they do:

"We have gotten people fired, we have gotten people kicked out of their homes, we've broken up relationships and friendships. The reward in Perverted Justice is peeling back the curtain on these fuckers, we do that. And as we grow (and we're growing, oh boy, are we growing) we continue to have greater successes in making lives a living hell."

Xavier Von Erck during a chat with one of their targets who also wasn't cooperating with the anonymous vigilante's demands. Remember - This is coming from the same owner of perverted-justice who states over and over that they do not encourage or condone harassment...

"Well, I think you forgot how these conversations go. I speak. You whimper. That's the way it was the other night. Since you don't know your place on the pervert pole, we'll get to have fun with fliers. I'll be sure to call your mother personally. Night!"

Stated a number of times by senior perverted-justice baiter "Frag Off" (Dennis Kerr of Redondo Beach, CA) after seeking out and publicly posting the personal contact information for one of their targets without any law enforcement involvement - This followed his instructions for the harassment to begin against his target when he personally decided that it was time to ruin this person's life:

"BRING THE PAIN PEOPLE!!!"

Statement made by then-15 year old "Satine" (Teala Relatos) after she was done having a graphic sexual chat with a target for Xavier, owner of perverted-justice:

"ONE OF MY OLDEST MARKS. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE CALL HIM AT WORK! IF YOU CAN, FIND OUT WHERE HE WORKS AND PAY HIM A VISIT THERE. I THINK HIS WIFE DESERVES TO KNOW WHAT A SICK FUCK HE ACTUALLY IS. "

Xavier Von Erck explaining why he doesn't feel it necessary to involve police:

"These are individuals, including this man, who are looking to hook up with a fourteen year old girl. Sure they haven't DONE it yet, and that's why we call them "wannabe pedophiles", they want to yet can't complete the act due to... well, TIG is 28, not 14. And he's male. See, that's why we're not calling the police to have these people arrested... there's a difference between that and just ostracizing these people for attempting to hook up with someone they believe to be 14."

Perverted-Justice member "Badgerfan" a.k.a. "Freddo Frog" (Scott Javoroski of Grafton, WI) to the rest of the vigilante group members regarding one of their targets:

"Fuck him. Call his employer and let them know. Burn him down."

The real founder of Perverted-Justice, "Tattooed Indian Guy" (Frank Fencepost) describes to members how best to deal with those they target:

FRANK FENCEPOST'S ABRIDGED LIST OF WHAT NOT TO DO TO THESE PERVERTS-

1- Do not call these perverts every hour on the hour from midnight to 6 am, asking for "hot hot ass."

2- Do not offer these phone numbers to Jehovah's Witnesses, telling them that you need as many prayer meetings as you can get.

3- Posting these numbers in Gay Phone Sex Chat:1 is a terrible, terrible thing. Dont do THAT... please, don't do THAT.

4- A word on email addresses... Please, PLEASE don't use them as your own on really perverted pornographic websites .... for that would be wrong. I'm sure these guys don't want that kind of spam email.

5- Some of these fellas have even given up their home addresses from time to time. PLEASE be responsible about this! DON'T dump bleach on their lawns. For the love of god, keep those dog turds OUT of their mailboxes! And whatever you do, don't crazy glue their doors shut!

6- Some of these guys who've chosen to give us their addresses live far away, on the east coast or even in different countries altogether. Please do not, repeat do NOT, mail them a frozen fish. By the time it arrives, you see, it won't be frozen anymore, it'll just be a fish. A big, smelly, rotten fish.

7- It's just plain cruel to print out these convos, gather your friends, and go door-to-door in the wannabe pedophile's neighborhood, handing out copies of the convo to his neighbors.

So, umm, yeah. Don't do any of that. Wink wink, nudge nudge.

For anyone who takes the time to look, there are literally hundreds of examples of things being said and done by the owner and members of perverted-justice that no intelligent, thinking, caring person would consider "ethical".

Would an ethical person start up a website dedicated to defaming his critics? Von Erck's participation at the sister site he started (screen name "Ombudsman") with the express purpose of encouraging harassment and terrorization of his critics is a perfect example of the methods he uses as a means to silence his detractors without reflecting badly on perverted-justice.com proper.
Would an ethical person encourage the manipulation of pornographic images to make them appear to have the faces of the family members of those who have criticized perverted-justice.com?
Would an ethical person allow minors to participate in sexually graphic chats as Xavier did with perverted-justice baiter "Satine" who was only 15 years old when she started "working" for him?
Would an ethical person applaud the death of someone who had committed suicide as a result of being targeted by perverted-justice?
Would an ethical person manufacture and publicize totally bogus information about his critics knowing full well that the information is blatantly false in the hopes of discrediting anyone who disagrees with his vigilante tactics?
Would an ethical person attempt or encourage others to lie on his behalf, then employ others to delete all public evidence of those lies when difficult questions started being asked?

Xavier Von Erck, the owner and supreme ruler of perverted-justice.com is many things. Young, inexperienced, mouthy, brash, deceitful, long-winded, sophomoric, power-hungry, and unbelievably egomaniacal, but "ethical"? All evidence shows him and most of his senior gang-members to be the exact opposite.If that were not the case, his vigilante website would have either legitimized or ceased operation years ago.
