Efforts Rewarded - Perverted-Justice
Makes a Significant Departure From The Norm If
the news reports and advertising are any indication, Dateline has teamed up again
with perverted-justice for another "Group Media Bust", this time in
California. It
appears that our efforts to force the vigilante group into "legitimizing"
their tactics have finally paid off to a small degree - This time, rather than
relying on their normal vigilante tactics as they have for the past 3 years, for
the first time ever, they actually coordinated with real, qualified, trained
law enforcement before setting up their "stings", and allowed
those who showed up to be arrested rather than simply embarrassed on the
perverted-justice website. It
should be understood that this significant departure from their previous efforts
is fully a result of the pressure that Corrupted-Justice.com brought to
bear on perverted-justice, MSNBC, and the Dateline producers. The public outcry
surrounding their lack of police involvement over the past 3 years (and particularly
in their last two Dateline farces) generated by the concerted effort put forth
by our members ensured that this type of media circus (no police involvement until
after the fact) would not be allowed to occur again. The approach worked and in
the upcoming Dateline program, apparently the police were involved. If this turns
out to be the case, bravo. (Why did it take so long?) I
would like to personally thank all of the Corrupted-Justice members who took the
time and effort to contact MSNBC and other media organizations to communicate
their displeasure at the methods used by perverted-justice and MSNBC Dateline
in their last two PJ-related programs. The fact that perverted-justice has, at
least for the upcoming Dateline episode, changed their tactics as we have been
demanding since day one is proof positive that our efforts have not been wasted.
Well Done! Please
understand though - The job is not finished. Until perverted-justice finally
gives up the vigilante tactics completely, until they meet our demands to cease
their "Follow Up" and harassment and terrorization without the involvement
of law enforcement, until every last one of their "busts" is resolved
by trained, accredited police agencies rather than receiving only PJ's form of
vigilante "justice", we still have a reason to continue to ensure the
public is informed of the facts behind the vigilante group. With
any luck, the owner of perverted-justice.com, Phillip Eide, will by now have realized
the benefits inherent in operating his website in the manner we have been demanding
for almost two years. While he is certainly far too ego-driven to admit the fact
that we were right all along, how he spins or explains any change in policy to
his members is not important. What is important is that the methods being used
by perverted-justice may possibly be changing for the better (we'll reserve
judgement for the time being), and if this turns out to be the case, you can thank
Corrupted-Justice.com. Well
