A. Give us a damn good reason. As I related above, it is rare. Give us a damn good reason. And it better be damn good. Otherwise, we won't even entertain the thought. Basically if you're ashamed, if you know you did something wrong, I suggest writing a "Right of Reply" to us to be posted. These "Rights of Reply" are given to you for you to address our community and explain yourself.

In case after case of perverted-justice "busts", we become aware of chats which have taken place between PJ harassers and the PJ target after the target has been posted on the site. It begins immediately after the target is posted - Anonymous PJ vigilantes put the PJ machine in motion by immediately IMing (Instant Messaging) the posted bust with insults, threats, intimidation and coercion.

It quickly becomes obvious in the vast majority of these "after-bust" chats that the primary motivation for the PJ member contacting the target in the first place is the sick thrill they get from their ability to anonymously wield power over another person. In the cases where the target hasn't yet fully realized the danger involved in communicating with the vigilantes and actually attempts to have a rational discussion, there is almost always a common demand made repeatedly by the PJ members during the intimidation session: "The only chance you have to get your information removed from PJ is by sending an RoR to the site owner".

The RoR is primarily used as a method whereby the vigilantes at perverted-justice can receive verification that their harassment techniques have achieved their intended purpose - To terrorize someone into performing a public display of submission, thereby validating the harasser's personal psychological need for dominance.

The truth is, we are aware of only one case out of well over 1000 where the target's information was supposedly removed as a result of his RoR. (And even in that case, there have been some serious unanswered questions pertaining to some additional "influences" which may have been used to have the information removed.) In all the cases we've reviewed to date, we have yet to find a single RoR that was not completely and totally written as a result of intimidation, coercion and threats from PJ members. Consider the circumstances under which the RoR is written - death threats, continuous phone calls, constant IMs, e-mails, and the suggestion that all this will go away if only they write an RoR. Hardly an atmosphere that would be conducive to an expression of honesty and true regret.

Along with our advice to PJ targets to immediately seek legal advice, we always attempt to ensure they are aware of the facts surrounding the sending of a "Right of Reply" letter to Phillip Eide, the owner of PJ. Contrary to the continuous assertions by PJ staff that submitting an RoR will "help" the target and will likely result in the removal of his information from the site, the truth is, in the majority of cases, the RoR actually makes matters worse! In our experience, once posted on PJ, the RoR itself is used primarily as a catalyst for further harassment.

The RoR is seen in one of only two possible lights by PJ members: It is interpreted as either an admission of guilt or clear evidence of the target's attempt to avoid responsibility for his actions. In either case, the RoR is posted publicly, then the "believability" of the RoR is voted on and discussed by PJ members and the incitement of further harassment of the target, his family, friends, neighbors, etc. is planned and executed via the "Reactions" forum at the site.

To get a true picture of the real purpose of the RoR, one has only to read the posts in the perverted-justice "Reactions" forum each time a new RoR is posted.

First: A post from a new PJ member who quickly recognized the futility of a "bust" writing an RoR. The PJ member posted his thoughts and was subsequently banned from PJ.

"I think some people here like the RoR just so they can insult and make fun of the pervs. I think it would discourage the perv's from ever doing the RoR. If the busted perv reads these comments they may think this site nothing more than entertainment for the viewers here and they may refuse to take this situation seriously. If someone is truly out to save souls from the evil drugs they would never ever call the drug abusers 'stupid junkies' or 'fucking assholes' or things like that. It wouldn't be condusive at all. I know what these pedo's do is wrong and evil and scummy etc...But if I wanted to truly help anyone I wouldn't be insulting them all the time calling them disparaging names. I have no sympathy for these sick pedophiles. None at all. I'd love to shoot them in the face with no remorse. Remember - These responses are copied directly from perverted-justice and were written by both the hard-core fanatics and general members in response to the posting of various bust's Right of Reply letters. They are not responses to the chat or whatever else the target may have done. They are direct responses to the Right of Reply letters sent by the targets.

Role-playing is a very common game amongst the internet generation and playing such characters is very common for all ages. I do not use role-playing as an excuse for the conversation, however, as a comparison to how popular derogative conversation is on the web.

As a member of many community clubs and non-profit centers, I cherish life and despise those that commit such bodily or even mental harm upon others.

Just how in the world did I get caught disrespecting the rights of a child? Oh yeah, that's right I just don't give a damn. I'm pissed I got caught.

Do these examples make it alright to perform the conversation, of course not. I did reply several times if any of the conversation was offensive to the other and every response was replyed with a no.

I knew a lonely child would say no, so I went for the kill. Easy prey.

Whomever was impersonating a thirteen year old girl (which was conversed as a 14 year old, though this makes no difference), was definately acting out the part to the point of encourage meeting.

And I did as any wannabe baby raper would, I convinced the child into it myself, and just to remove any guilt from myself I lied right here saying the child did it. Always easy to put the blame anywhere but on myself.

As a friend that I thought I developed, of course friends talk about meeting at some point in time. This would be completely unrealistic and quite possibly impossible.

Quite possibly impossible, hell. I wanted to abuse a lonely child and I knew it. I know as an adult I should have no contact for friendship, with anyone under 18. I just wanted to abuse a child, and now I wanna make more excuses for myself. Is this working yet?

Even if meeting was capable of happening, I would morally rescind from doing so.
